1) Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or requesting services from Biblical Research Partner (“BRP,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or services.

2) Services

BRP provides source-cited biblical research and related deliverables (e.g., exegetical/expositional outlines, word studies, topical studies, series planning aids). Deliverables are for informational and educational purposes; you retain responsibility for interpretation, pastoral application, and public communication.

3) Ordering, Scope & Revisions

  • You provide scope via our Intake Form (passage/topic, audience, due date, depth, “must-include angles”).

  • We confirm scope, price, and target delivery.

  • Unless otherwise stated, briefs include one light revision within 48 hours of delivery (typos, clarity, small adjustments). Substantial changes (new passage, new thesis, expanded length) may require a Change Order and fee.

4) Fees & Payment

  • Current prices are shown on the Services & Pricing page or as quoted in writing.

  • Payment terms are due as invoiced or via platform checkout. Work begins upon payment/retainer unless otherwise agreed.

  • Rush requests (tight deadlines) may incur a surcharge.

5) Deliverables & Intellectual Property

  • We deliver PDF/DOCX files (and agreed add-ons).

  • Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive license to use the deliverables in your ministry/academic context (teaching, preaching, classes).

  • You may not resell, publish as a stand-alone product, or redistribute commercially without written permission.

  • BRP retains background IP (methods, templates) and may reuse generalized know-how. We do not reuse your confidential information.

6) Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and timely responses.

  • Verify Scripture quotations, citations, and facts before public use.

  • Obtain any required permissions if you need substantial verbatim excerpts from copyrighted translations or works.

7) Turnaround, Delivery & Acceptance

  • Turnaround windows listed on the site are typical and depend on availability and scope.

  • A deliverable is deemed accepted unless you request the included revision within the stated window.

8) Cancellations & Refunds

  • Before work starts: refundable minus any payment processing fees.

  • After work begins: partial refunds at BRP’s discretion based on work completed.

  • After delivery: refunds are not available, but the included revision policy applies.

9) Confidentiality

We treat non-public materials you share (unpublished manuscripts, internal notes) as confidential and use them only to perform the services. If needed, we can sign a simple NDA prior to receiving sensitive materials.

10) Third-Party Tools & Integrations

We may reference or interact with third-party tools (e.g., Logos Bible Software, file storage, scheduling, payment). Their use is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

11) Fair Use & Permissions

We respect fair-use limits for quotations and provide attribution where appropriate. If you require extensive verbatim use from a specific translation/commentary, you are responsible for securing permission.

12) Disclaimers

  • Services are provided “as is” for informational/educational purposes.

  • BRP does not provide legal, tax, counseling, or clinical advice.

  • We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of any website or third-party tools.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BRP and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits/revenues, arising from the services or your use of deliverables. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

14) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BRP from claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the deliverables, your published statements, or your violation of these Terms.

15) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in {your California county}, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

16) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
